The Project Brief

Total refurbishment of 4 large resident’s kitchens within Ruth House to upgrade and replace the original kitchen cupboards and work surfaces to provide a bright and inviting area for all of the residential clients, with the addition of new flooring and bright, vibrant kitchen splashbacks, all new appliances and associated M&E works.

Our Approach

Working closely with the client and staff within Ruth House, we put a programme of works together to enable us to work in a busy residential care home within normal working hours so as to minimise disruption to the day to day operation of the home.  The kitchens were completed in an order of importance by the client and each kitchen was completed finished within budget and timescale.  During the programme of works and due to the nature of the home, restrictions put in place by the client were overcome so that there were no delays in completion of this project.

Our Supervisor’s and tradesmen worked closely on site with Ruth House Management on a day to day basis and adapted the working pattern to suit the requirements of the home.
