The Project Brief

This project entailed the complete refurbishment of all of the public and staff washrooms within the Civic offices of Elmbridge Borough Council.

The washrooms were stripped back to core services and refitted in their entirety to include all new sanitaryware, flooring, wall cladding, cubicles, vanity tops, fixtures and fittings along with the associated M&E works.

Our Approach

Working within a busy and fully functioning large Civic building a programme of works was put together to enable a set of male and female washrooms to be worked on concurrently so that the function of the building was not compromised and other facilities were still available to the staff and members of the public.  Working within the restrictions put in place by the Borough Council we were able to overcome any disruption to the working day by agreeing with them a suitable time for ingress and egress into the working area.
